3. Why did we call this class “Beer’s Cup of Joe”? And how does stouts & porters relate to the world of coffee? NOTE: And the answer does not have to do with coffee being used in this style of beer.

The most well known stout is probably Guinness, which is a dry/Irish stout. But as always- we will not talk about the common type but go exploring deep into the world of stouts and porters and talk about how different stouts and porters can really be.
Join us as we will answer the above questions and many more while tasting some very interesting stouts and porters.

Benjamin Neidhart has worked for B. United International Inc. since 2005. He initially started his career in advertising, but soon realized that beer was his passion. He loves to drink and learn about great beers and cidres so he regularly travels to great beer and cidre producing countries to learn about their culture- such as Germany, Belgium, UK, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and Japan. Ben has spent time working at Domaine E. Dupont (France) & Aecht Schlenkerla (Germany) helping in operations while learning about the production technique. In his spare time, Ben is a cyclist and an amateur home-renovator on his own house.
