The historical town Mikulov is right on the border with Austria and was founded at the beginning of the 12th century. Our beautiful city is surrounded by vineyards. It is the warmest area in the Czech Republic, where wines are doing very well and where wine-growing has a centuries-long tradition (since ancient Romans time).
