Kiuchi Shuzou Ltd. was established in 1823 in the tiny hamlet of Kounosu (= "Nest") as producer of Japanese Sake. In 1996 the company started brewing beer with a capacity of 1,500 barrels per year.

Appearance: Dark Mahogany
Flavor: A perfect mixture of coffee, chocolate, and roasted flavors in the nose and on the palate.
Finish: No bitterness, but sweet notes throughout to the very finish.
