In 2000 their Hitachino (="abundant forest") Nest Beer White Ale won the Gold Medal at the Association of Brewers' "World Beer Cup" in the Herb & Spiced Beer Category.

Hitachino Nest Beer White Ale also took the Gold Medal at the 2000 Japan Beer Cup.

Hitachino Nest White Ale is a refreshing mildly hopped Belgian styled beer with a complex flavor of coriander, orange peel, and nutmeg.
