In the early 1800s by Scottish merchant named David Carnegie. The brewery later merged with the Pripps brewery, which went on to become the largest brewery in Sweden.

Appearance: Black with a small caramel colored head.
Flavor: Strong roasted tones of chocolate character and lots of hop bitterness which both are balanced and softened by a degree of sweetness
