B. United International Inc. - Yule Ale

Niels Thomsen's wife, Disa Fink is also employed by the brewery as well, and their son, Kristian, also helps out. The brewery produces mainly English-inspired beers (ales), 8 of which are available year-round, supplemented by 4-6 seasonal brews.

In December 2006 WinterCoat brewed and tapped 16 casks each of Yellow Jacket and Double Hop for a US import company specialising in craft beer and spirits from around the world. That's not even one cask per state, but, hey, it's a start! The beer was sold to specialty pubs across the US.

Flavor:

Its dark colour has a deep, reddish glow, the fruitiness is intense, accentuated by a touch of citrus and balanced by the spiciness which the 2 types of hops contribute in glorious harmony. This year (2006), in our efforts to become Denmark's only Cascade-free micro, we've removed the Cascade hops and given Yule Ale a tad more orange peel so it retains the rich citrus notes a Yule Ale should have.
