B. United International Inc. - Yule Ale

This beer has been a Christmas tradition in the brewer's home since 1996 and was the beginning of the WinterCoat dream - and with good reason! Its dark colour has a deep, reddish glow, the fruitiness is intense, accentuated by a touch of citrus and balanced by the spiciness which the 2 types of hops contribute in glorious harmony. This year (2006), in our efforts to become Denmark's only Cascade-free micro, we've removed the Cascade hops and given Yule Ale a tad more orange peel so it retains the rich citrus notes a Yule Ale should have.

The WinterCoat brewery is a family-owned and operated brewery situated on an old farm just outside of the village of Sabro in Denmark. Niels J. Thomsen, owner and brewer, was born in the farmhouse. The brewery has a capacity of 8 hectolitres, and we can brew this 4 times a week.
