On the hot surface of our old copper brewing kettle, the hops for Franconian Pilsner are slowly roasted - just as they were in Bamberg more than 200 years ago. This forgotten craft was rediscovered in the historic records of Konrad Graser and brought back to life. Roasting unlocks rich, distinctive hop aroma and the beer an intense, naturally fruity character.
